What makes 10is different

Most weeks at 10is run like a well-oiled tennis club. Players arrive after school or work. Sessions are energetic, focused, and well organised. Juniors and adults learn, compete, enjoy themselves, and improve together.

But once in a while, something a little different happens. You might find a Professional Tour player or coach on the court. They do not arrive as guests or headline attractions. They simply become part of the club.

They train on the same courts as our members, play with them, and run clinics for our junior and adult players. There is no separation and no sense that some people are more entitled to the experience than others.

For younger players, it can be the first time they see how fast, composed, and human high-level tennis really is. For adults, it is often a chance to reconnect with what good habits and clear decision-making look like under pressure.

Over the years, members at 10is have shared the court with players and coaches such as Dominic Inglot, Vijay Sundar Prashanth, David O'Hare and coaches including Louis Cayer.

These moments are not presented as promises or guarantees. They are simply part of life at the club.

That balance between everyday, well-run tennis and occasional exposure to the highest level of the game is deliberate. It keeps the club grounded, while reminding players why tennis is such a compelling sport.

Junior Coaching

Junior coaching at 10is is built around confidence, enjoyment, and long-term development.

We work with clear stages, keep group sizes small, and move players forward when they are ready rather than when it looks impressive. We care about how players feel on court, how they respond to challenges, and whether they want to keep playing over time.

Our aim is not short-term success. It is to develop confident players who enjoy learning and stay engaged with the game.
