From ATP Tour to Ely: VJ Sundar Brings World-Class Tennis to 10is Academy

10is Academy Ely Tennis Club is thrilled to celebrate the success of one of its top members, VJ Sundar, who recently clinched his first ATP Tour title at the 2024 Hangzhou Open. VJ, a dedicated member of 10is Academy, has not only made waves on the international tennis scene but also continues to inspire the next generation of players right here in Ely.

VJ teamed up with fellow Indian player Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan to secure the doubles title in a thrilling final. After a tough battle, they defeated Germany’s Constantin Frantzen and Hendrik Jebens in a super tie-breaker. This title win marked VJ’s first ATP crown, making it a career-defining moment for him.

When not on tour, VJ trains and plays at 10is Academy, bringing his high-level experience and passion for tennis to local players. His presence at the academy provides an incredible opportunity for aspiring tennis players in the region to learn from a professional who competes on the world stage.
