10is Academy Court Code of Conduct

Respect the game. Respect each other. Respect our home.

At 10is Academy, we believe the way we play matters as much as the result.
Our courts are a shared space — of joy, effort, and community — and we all share responsibility for keeping them that way.

Respect the Environment

Our courts are located within King’s Ely School grounds, a privilege we value deeply.
Please remember:

  • We are guests on a school site — respect all rules, property, and people.
  • Only use the tennis area and the direct access routes provided.
  • No access to other parts of the school campus is permitted.
  • Keep noise and behaviour appropriate for a school setting.
  • Children must always be supervised by a parent, guardian, or coach.

Failure to follow these guidelines may affect our ability to use the venue — thank you for helping us preserve this partnership.

Safeguarding & Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone.

  • Treat all players, coaches, and parents with respect — on and off court.
  • No bullying, shouting, or abusive language of any kind.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to a 10is Academy coach or safeguarding officer.
  • Photography or video recording of children is only permitted with parental consent and coach approval.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility — let’s protect the joy of the game for all.

On-Court Etiquette

  • Wear non-marking tennis shoes at all times.
  • Take care of the nets, balls, and benches.
  • Keep food and drinks (other than water) off court.
  • Return borrowed rackets and equipment after use.
  • If you’re waiting to play, avoid disturbing matches in progress.

Play fair. Be kind. Leave the court better than you found it.

Floodlights & Facilities

  • Floodlights are available until 10:00 pm.
  • Please leave the site promptly after your booking.
  • Dispose of litter responsibly.
  • No smoking or vaping on school property.

Cancellations

  • Cancel or reschedule online with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.

Guests

  • Members may bring up to two guests per session.
  • Guests must follow this same Code of Conduct.
  • The hosting member is responsible for their guest’s behaviour on site.

Feedback & Reporting

We welcome respectful feedback — it helps us grow. To report an issue or safeguarding concern, please contact: admin@10is.co.uk

We play with pride, integrity, and care — because our courts are more than a place to play. They’re a reflection of who we are as a community.
