10is Academy Tennis Lessons Rules & Regulations

1. Dress Code:

  • Participants must wear appropriate tennis attire and non-marking tennis shoes for safety and court maintenance reasons.

2. Equipment:

  • Players are expected to bring their own rackets. However, rackets can be rented or purchased at the club if needed.
  • The academy will provide all other necessary equipment, like tennis balls.

3. Punctuality:

  • Players are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled lesson time to warm up and be ready to start on time.

4. Conduct:

  • Respectful and sportsmanlike behavior is expected at all times. This includes respect for coaches, fellow players, and club property.
  • No abusive language or disruptive behavior will be tolerated.

5. Safety:

  • Players must follow all safety instructions given by coaches.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries should be communicated to the coach prior to the lesson.

6. Attendance:

  • Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure consistent progress. If a player needs to miss a lesson, please inform the academy in advance.

7. Parental/Guardian Supervision (for children's lessons):

  • Parents or guardians of young children are required to remain on the premises during their child’s lesson for safety and support.

8. Cancellations and Make-up Lessons:

  • Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy for details on lesson cancellations.
  • Make-up lessons may be arranged based on coach availability and circumstances of the cancellation.

9. Payment Policy:

  • Fees for tennis lessons must be paid in accordance with the payment terms set forth by the academy.
  • Late payments may result in suspension of lesson privileges.

10. Weather Policy:

  • In case of inclement weather, lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled. Notification will be given as soon as a decision is made.

11. Personal Belongings:

  • Players are responsible for their own belongings. The academy is not liable for lost or stolen items.

12. Feedback and Concerns:

  • We welcome feedback and concerns regarding tennis lessons and will strive to address them promptly.
